 “smart” cities\, and transforming the way we live\, travel\,\nmanufact
 ure\, transport and consume products.\n\nFrom smart appliances\, lighting\
 , meters and air conditioning to\nlocation trackers\, IoT enables major fi
 rms and smaller businesses\nalike to transform supply chains and make them
  more responsive\,\nefficient\, intelligent and easier to monitor and cont
 rol. The use of\nmillions of ever-cheaper sensors also provides a treasure
  trove of\ndata that empowers the use of analytics in supply chain managem
 ent and\nin tactical and strategic planning in organizations.\n\nThis pres
 entation presents an overview of the transformations that are\nalready tak
 ing place in supply chain management as a result of\nIoT-based systems. It
  examines the technologies\, business processes\,\nuse cases\, and impacts
