DESCRIPTION: \n\nThe Center for Business Analytics will partner with\nPrice
 waterhouseCoopers (PwC) to offer the 2021 datathon for\nundergraduate stud
 ents.\n\nDATATHON OVERVIEW\n\nDrexel LeBow’s annual datathon is an analy
 tics competition that\ntasks teams of undergraduate students with leveragi
 ng data to solve a\nbusiness challenge for an organization. During this on
 e-day event\,\nteams of undergraduate students turn a business problem int
 o a series\nof statistical questions\, design a technical approach\, and u
 se data\nanalysis and technology skills to develop solutions. Students wil
 l\ninteract with PwC throughout the day\, showcasing their skills and\napp
 roaches to the organization.\n\nAt the conclusion of the datathon\, teams 
 will present their insights\nto a panel of judges comprising PwC professio
 nals and Drexel LeBow\nfaculty\, sharing data-driven insights related to t
 he business problem\,\nthe scope of their analyses\, technical challenges 
 and overall\nsolutions.\n\nStudents use their own laptops and are provided
  access to a computer\nlab with software applications such as SAS\, R and 
 Python. Murugan\nAnandarajan\, PhD\, professor of Decision Sciences and MI
 S\, will serve\nas the faculty advisor overseeing the challenge.\n\nPARTIC
 IPANT ELIGIBILITY\n\nTo be eligible to participate\, team members must be 
 currently enrolled\nundergraduate students interested or proficient in cor
 e techniques for\nbusiness analytics\, such as data and statistical modeli
 ng. Individuals\nwho register will be contacted closer to the event to for
 m and/or\nconfirm teams.\n\nDATATHON CHALLENGE\n\nSummary and specifics of
