 ’ debt distresses and\nrestructurings\, including Ghana\, Sri Lanka and 
 Malawi.\n\nCurrently\, governments\, International Financial Institutions 
 and\nmarket analysts expect that inflation\, the underlying force of the\n
 prevailing high interest rates\, will subside soon and subsequently\ninter
 est rates. Such developments will provide a respite to current\ndebt press
 ures and push for restructurings.\n\nThe conference intends to provide a f
 orum for exchanging views on the\ncurrent state of affairs and offer insig
 hts for future developments.\n
