  location drew protests citywide and into City Hall as City\nCouncil voted
  to allow the East Center City location to go forward\,\nfollowed by an ab
 rupt turn around on January 12\, 2025 leaving some\nsupporters feeling use
 d and duped. There is confusion as to what will\nhappen now to Center City
  East\, especially in the wake of the\nannouncement of the closing of the 
 iconic Macy’s located in the\nhistorically protected Wanamaker building.
  Panelists will provide\ninsight into the pros and cons of urban sports st
 adiums\, using\nhistorical experience in other cities such as New York\, C
 hicago\,\nBoston\, Atlanta and Phoenix. Economic and equity impacts\nneigh
 borhoods\, citizens\, businesses\, employers\, sports fans\, city\nrevenue
  etc. will be discussed to hopefully craft a positive way\nforward for all
