  PHD\, associate clinical\nprofessor and head of the Decision Sciences and
  MIS department\, and\nthe inagural recipeints of the program’s alumni a
 wards:\n\n * EARLY CAREER ALUMNI ACHIEVEMENT AWARD RECIPIENT: IAN YAMAGUCH
 I\n’15\, a global strategist for Samsung’s Global Strategy Group based
 \nin Seoul\, South Korea. Since graduating from Drexel\, Yamaguchi has\nwo
 rked in various consulting roles for IBM and completed an MBA\nthrough INS
 EAD\, an international business graduate school based in\nFrance.\n * ALUM
 NI CAREER ACHIEVEMENT AWARD RECIPIENT: WILLIAM R. SCHUTT\n’67\, founder\
 , former owner and chairman of MATCOR\, Inc.\, a global\nprovider of corro
 sion prevention technologies headquartered in\nChalfont\, Pa. Schutt is a 
 member of Drexel’s President’s\nLeadership Council and the Close Schoo
 l of Entrepreneurship’s\nExternal Advisory Board\, a Golden Dragon Socie
 ty Award recipient from\nthe Drexel University Alumni Association and a 20
 19 Drexel 100\ninductee.\n\nLaunched in 1924 as Commercial Engineering at 
 the Drexel Institute of\nTechnology\, the program evolved to Commerce and 
 Engineering before\nmoving to the current name in 2007. Throughout its his
 tory\, the\nprogram has delivered its distinctive blend of curriculum of b
 usiness\neducation and engineering expertise with its alumni spanning the 
 globe\nand leading in their fields.\n\nReconnect with classmates\, mentors
