SUMMARY:2026 Datathon: An Industry-Focused Analytics Competition 
DESCRIPTION: \n\nDATATHON OVERVIEW\n\nPresented by the Center for Applied A
 I and Business Analytics\,\nLeBow’s annual datathon is a one-day analyti
 cs competition that\nchallenges student teams with analyzing and deriving 
 insights from\ndata related to a company’s business challenge. Teams wil
 l transform\na business problem into a series of statistical questions\, d
 esign a\ntechnical approach and use data analysis and technology skills to
 \ndevelop insights.\n\nStudents will interact with company representatives
  throughout the\nday\, then present their findings to a panel of judges co
 mprising\ncompany representatives and LeBow faculty — highlighting their
 \nmethodology\, analyses\, technical challenges and business insights.\nSt
 udents must bring and use their own laptops.\n\nPARTICIPANT ELIGIBILITY\n\
 nThe datathon is open to currently enrolled LeBow undergraduate and\ngradu
 ate students with an interest or proficiency in business\nanalytics\, such
  as data analysis and statistical modeling.\n\nTeams will consist of 5–7
  students. You’re welcome to form your\nown team: just be sure that all 
 members register individually. Team\nrosters must be submitted to Diana Jo
 nes at dej36@drexel.edu by\nJanuary 26\, 2026. If you don’t have a team\
 , the Center will be glad\nto match you with one.\n\nSpots are limited and
  will be filled on a first-come\, committed basis.\nRegistration closes on
  January 26\, 2026 or when capacity is reached.\nThis is a high-visibility
  opportunity to engage directly with company\nleaders. By registering\, yo

  event date.\nPast company partners include Bloomberg\, Under Armour and t
 he\nPhiladelphia Flyers. Student teams will receive all specifics of the\n
 datathon challenge at the event.\n
