SUMMARY:Finance Impact Challenge Kickoff Event: An Applied Competition for 
 First-Year Students
DESCRIPTION: \n\nCOMPETITION OVERVIEW\n\nJoin us for the launch of LeBow’
 s Finance Impact Challenge\, an\napplied competition designed to introduce
  first-year students to the\nprinciples of financial decision-making\, fin
 ancial analysis and\nbusiness strategy through a guided case analysis. No 
 prerequisite\ncoursework or experience is required.\n\nAfter the kickoff e
 vent\, students will work in teams to analyze a\nfinancial scenario\, asse
 ss key strategic considerations and\ncommunicate their recommendations. A 
 select number of finalist teams\nwill advance to present live to a panel o
 f alumni and industry\nprofessionals on Feb. 20.\n\nParticipation gives st
 udents an early opportunity to strengthen\nanalytical and communication sk
 ills\, gain insight into how business\ndecisions are made in practice and 
 build valuable problem-solving\nexperience that supports future co-op and 
 internship readiness.\n\nThis kickoff event will introduce the challenge\,
  outline expectations\,\nand provide guidance for teams to begin their wor
 k.\n\nTEAM STRUCTURE\n\nThe competition is open to all currently enrolled 
 LeBow first-year\n(freshmen) students. At least one team member must be a 
 Finance major.\nTeams may consist of 3 to 4 members. You’re welcome to f
 orm your own\nteam: just be sure that all members register individually. T
 eam\nrosters must be submitted to Diana Jones at  dej36@drexel.edu by\
 nJan. 30\, 2026. If you don’t have a team\, we’ll be glad to match\nyo
 u with one.\n\nPRIZES\n\nPrizes will be awarded to members of the winning
