DESCRIPTION: \n\nOn December 9\, 2025\, after receiving clearance from the 
 NCAA\, the\nUniversity of Utah announced it was partnering with New York-b
 ased\nprivate equity fund Otro Capital to help raise what is estimated to 
 be\naround $500 million. Out of this agreement comes the creation of Utah\
 nBrands & Entertainment LLC\, which will be co-owned by the university\nan
 d equity fund and act as an independent offshoot of the university\nathlet
 ic department. This groundbreaking deal is the first of its kind\nin colle
 giate athletics\, with many universities now expected to follow\nsuit and 
 form similar private equity partnerships.\n\nJeremy Levine\, teaching assi
 stant at Stony Brook University\, will\nprovide an engaging session about 
 this new trend in collegiate\nathletics and address questions like what pr
 ivate equity funds are and\nhow they operate\, why collegiate athletics ar
