SUMMARY:Faculty Technology Workshop: In-class Polling with Poll Everywhere
DESCRIPTION: \n\nHave you ever wanted to ask your students to vote or answe
 r a question\nin class\, but counting raised hands was too cumbersome? Or 
 have you\never wanted to do a mock quiz in preparation for an exam? A serv
 ice\nthat LeBow licenses called Poll Everywhere allows faculty to create\n
 poll questions and embed them right into their presentation slides.\nWhen 
 the poll appears\, students can respond to the question via their\ncell ph
 one or computing device\, and results can be shown instantly.\n\nIn this w
 orkshop faculty will see Poll Everywhere demonstrated\, hear\nfrom other f
 aculty who have used polling\, and learn how this tool can\nhelp engage yo
 ur students during lectures. Box lunches will be\nprovided\, but you must 
 register by 10:00 AM on Monday\, April 21 to be\nadded in the lunch count.
  If you register after that or don’t want a\nbox lunch\, choose the “A
 ttend in Person (but without a lunch)”\noption.\n\nWho should attend: Le
 Bow College of Business\nfull-time/part-time/adjunct faculty or PhD candid
 ates who are teaching\nface-to-face classes. Interested LCB staff are also
  welcome. Be sure\nto bring your own mobile device (laptop\, cell phone\, 
 smart phone\,\ntablet) so that you can participate in the poll demonstrati
