DESCRIPTION: \n\nStudents have a wealth of searchable Internet resources av
 ailable to\nthem when they are writing papers\, so shouldn’t you also ha
 ve\nadditional resources when it comes time to grade them? Turn-It-In\nass
 ignments can help. By creating a Turn-It-In assignment in Bb LEARN\,\nfacu
 lty receive a report on each student’s paper indicating where\nmatching 
 text appears online. The system checks the Internet\, popular\njournals\, 
 and even previously submitted papers. This can help identify\nwhen sources
  aren’t cited properly and can also help verify the\nvalidity of properl
 y cited passages.\n\nIn this workshop\, faculty will see Turn-It-In in act
 ion\, hear from\nother faculty who have used it\, and learn how this tool 
 can help\nstreamline grading papers in your classes. Box lunches will be\n
 available to those who register by 10:00 AM on Friday\, September 12.\nIf 
 you register after that or don’t want a box lunch\, choose the\n“Atten
 d in Person (but without a lunch)” option.\n\nWho should attend: LeBow C
 ollege of Business\nfull-time/part-time/adjunct faculty or PhD candidates 
 who are teaching\nand assign student papers. Interested LCB staff are also
