Kline School of Law Drexel\nUniversity\n\nRoger Dennis’ scholarship applies modern financial theory to\ncorporate law and strategic corporate behavior. His work has been\ncited by numerous courts\, including the U.S. Supreme Court. He became\nfounding dean of the law school after serving a s provost\, the head of\ncampus\, at Rutgers-Camden and dean of the Rutger s-Camden School of\nLaw.\n\nIn 2013\, Dean Dennis was elected to the Counc il of the American Bar\nAssociation Section of Legal Education and Admissi ons to the Bar\,\nwhich is the accrediting body for law schools in the Uni ted States. He\nhas held an elected seat on the American Law Institute for nearly two\ndecades and chaired numerous committees of the ABA Section on Legal\nEducation as well as the Association of American Law Schools.\n\nH e serves on the board of the United Way of Greater Philadelphia and\nSouth ern New Jersey and was selected for membership on the national\nUnited Way Membership Accountability Committee. He is a member of the\nadvisory boar d of the Public Interest Law Center of Philadelphia\, a\ntrustee of the Na tional Multiple Sclerosis Society and a former vice\nchair of the Camden C ounty Regional Legal Services Board.\n\nDean Dennis practiced with Skadden \, Arps\, Slate\, Meagher & Flom after\nserving as a trial attorney and sp ecial assistant to the assistant\nattorney general in the Antitrust Divisi on of the U.S. Department of\nJustice. Prior to those appointments\, he cl erked for U.S. District\nCourt Judge Richard McLaren\, in Chicago.\n\nEarn ing his J.D. at Northwestern University School of Law\, he was\nsenior edi tor of the Journal of Criminal Law and Criminology and\nserved on the Nati onal Moot Court Team\, winning first place in the\nMiner Moot Court Compet ition.
