DESCRIPTION: \n\nStudent team projects are popular in education. They encou
 rage\nstudents to become experts on a topic and allow for larger assignmen
 ts\nsince group members will collaborate together as a team. Instructors\n
 often ask if there is a way for students to provide feedback about\ntheir 
 team members. This past year\, some of Drexel’s LeBow College\nof Busine
 ss instructors used a tool called “Teammates” which\ngreatly enhanced 
 the peer evaluation process. In fact\, results showed\nthat students provi
 ded more qualitative feedback on themselves and\ntheir team members than w
 ith previous methods\, and set up took just a\nfew minutes.\n\nJoin the Le
 Bow Instructional Technologies Team for this workshop\,\nwhich will review
  the various challenges of peer evaluation and see a\ndemo of Teammates. T
 he tool is free\, does not require students to\ncreate accounts\, and prov
 ides useful ratings data which can then be\nused to give each student an i
 ndividual score.\n\nLunch will be available to those who register by 10:00
  AM on Friday\,\nMay 15.\n\nWho should attend: LeBow College of Business\n
 full-time/part-time/adjunct faculty or teaching PhD candidates. LCB\nstaff
  who are teaching or who directly support faculty are also\nwelcome.\n
