DESCRIPTION: \n\nYou may have noticed the computers with Bloomberg keyboard
 s in GHALL\n137 and the adjacent terminal room. Drexel students have full 
 access\nto Bloomberg Professional Service at these computers. All you need
  is\nto start up Bloomberg and create an account (by clicking on the\ncorr
 esponding link on the welcome page and signing up using your\nDrexel email
  address).\n\nA Bloomberg representative will be on campus Tuesday\, Octob
 er 13\,\nbetween 4 and 5:30pm in GHALL 137 to introduce Bloomberg’s vast
 \ncapabilities. The first part of the workshop will focus on Bloomberg\nba
 sics as well as its certification programs: Bloomberg’s Essentials\nOnli
 ne Training (BESS) program and the brand-new Bloomberg Market\nConcepts (B
 MC).\n\nThese self-paced certification programs are a great way for new\ns
 tudents to get started in finance and for more advanced students to\ncheck
  their progress!\n\nThe second part of the workshop will be geared towards
  ways in which\nBloomberg can assist with equity research and portfolio ma
 nagement.\n\nFor those of you interested in Bloomberg\, but unable to atte
 nd the\npresentation\, go ahead and sign up for an account at one of the\n
 terminals. Once you’re signed up and logged in\, you can access BESS\nan
 d BMC as described in the downloadable attachments below.\n
