DESCRIPTION: \n\nJoin LeBow College’s Institute for Strategic Leadership 
 for an\nintimate discussion with Kason Klipa\, Director of Public Affairs 
 &\nGovernment Relations\, Walmart.\n\nJason Klipa is the Director of Publi
 c Affairs & Government Relations\nfor Walmart in the mid-atlantic states. 
 He is responsible for\noverseeing Walmart’s legislative program in each 
 state and serving\nas the primary contact with each state legislature\, th
 e Governor’s\noffice and administration. Jason also works closely with h
 is state\nchambers\, grocers and retail associations to help shape Walmart
 ’s\nagenda. In his current role\, he works with Walmart’s Business\nSt
 rategy and Operations teams to manage issues that have an impact on\nthe b
 usiness. Jason also works with the Real Estate department\ncoordinating ou
 treach with local elected officials to secure approval\nfor new stores. He
  oversees a budget that includes WAL-PAC\,\nWalmart’s Political Action C
 ommittee as well as the Walmart\nFoundation. Jason also represents the com
 pany with several stakeholder\ngroups including the National Conference of
  State Legislators (NCSL)\,\nthe Council of State Governments (CSG) and th
 e Republican and Democrat\nGovernors Association (RGA & DGA).\n\nJason beg
 an his career in state government over 15 years ago working\nas a legislat
 ive aide while at Penn State University. Since then he\nhas worked on seve
 ral campaigns and served as a policy analyst for the\nPennsylvania House o
 f Representatives. Jason has lobbied for a variety\nof Fortune 500 clients
  specializing in gaming\, liquor law and\ninsurance.\n\nLearn more about L
