 Ph.D.\nfrom the University of Michigan (2000). He is a fellow of the\nEcon
 ometric Society and is affiliated with the National Bureau of\nEconomic Re
 search (NBER)\, the Centre for Economic Policy Research\n(CEPR)\, CESifo\,
  and the Kiel Institute for the World Economy. His\nbroad research interes
 ts are in international trade and investment.\nMore specifically\, he stud
 ies producer-level responses to\nglobalization and their implications for 
 aggregate trade and\ninvestment patterns. His research has been funded by
