Registration Option:
Join Uber representatives for a discussion of the company and specifically the Policy & Economics team managed by Uber’s Chief Economist. The team is responsible for producing rigorous economic research (often published in partnership with independent, unpaid academics) to help shape company policy. As part of the Policy Department, the Economics team has a mandate to optimize for long term outcomes that make business sense without compromising integrity.
Uber Economics seeks advanced economics students with experience conducting independent econometric research to bring analytical and economic rigor as the company addresses important questions relating to marketplaces, regulation, transportation policy, food policy, urban planning, and more. PhDs are welcome, and candidates finishing their undergraduate or Master’s degree can join on a permanent career path or with the intention of attending graduate school in economics two or more years later.
