Drexel InSites: Customer Experience Management and the Future of Brands

Location:

Registration for this event has passed.

The many ways that people and companies now communicate (e.g., email, social media, online reviews) sets rising consumer expectations and makes effective marketing more complex. In retail sales, this drives the strategy to surround people with a “total customer experience” and to demonstrate that brands understand each customer’s need.

What does that mean for you, your business, your family’s privacy?

Join us at Devon Yard — a location that, itself, is a cutting-edge example of the total experience approach — for a fascinating panel discussion on consumer psychology, branding, technology and customer experience management.

Network and relax with other Drexel alums at URBN’s six-acre lifestyle center, which features fine restaurants, stunning homewares and upscale fashion from some of America’s most successful brands.

Then get ready to have your eyes opened during a panel discussion that features experts who study, teach and shape retailing landscape today:

Richard A. Hayne, is a University trustee and the co-founder and CEO of Urban Outfitters, Inc. and its portfolio of brands: Urban Outfitters, Anthropologie, Free People, BHLDN, Terrain and the Vetri Family.

Gabrielle Conforti ’07 is chief merchandising officer for women at Urban Outfitters, and curator of its Artist Edition Series of commissioned products and experiential pop-up stores.

Joseph Henry Hancock II, PhD, moderator is a professor at the Westphal College of Media Arts & Design, and a well-known authority in the areas of fashion branding, retailing and merchandising as a form of storytelling.

Whether you want to be an educated consumer or a cutting-edge marketer, this event promises an evening of insights and fun.
