Academic Conference Call for Papers

Paper Submission Deadline
November 18, 2015

The Center for Corporate Governance is currently accepting papers for consideration for its 2016 Academic Conference. The conference features theoretical and empirical research related to corporate governance with a slight preference to the conference honoree. Each year the conference honors a researcher with an award for outstanding contributions to research in corporate governance and invites them to present the keynote speech during the conference. Previous recipients were Jonathan Karpoff, Michael Jensen, Rene Stulz, Andrei Shleifer, Steven Kaplan, Harold Demsetz, Kevin Murphy and Michael Weisbach.

To be eligible for submission, the paper must still be at a revisable stage (i.e. neither published nor so close to publication that significant changes are not feasible) by the date of the conference. If you would like to submit more than one paper please be sure to select the correct registration amount. The cost to submit a paper is $50 per paper. To submit a paper for consideration please register at the link below and upload your paper.

For questions or concerns please contact Tamika Washington at 215.895.4920.

We expect to notify authors about acceptances by early February 2016.

You are welcome to register and attend the conference whether or not you submit a paper and whether or not your paper is accepted. Conference registration will be provided in a separate link and will be available in January 2016.
