As CEO & Executive Director, Dave serves as head of the entire tax practice and oversees the firm’s operations, people, and services. He ensures that GTM continues to provide exceptional client service, maintains a strong family oriented culture, and structures the firm for a continued growth trajectory. Previously, he managed the lead tax practice for GTM’s Greater Philadelphia Office. He has been with GTM since 1997.
Dave has more than 30 years of diverse taxation experience including domestic, international, and state and local income tax. He also has extensive experience assisting with the management and transitioning of corporate tax functions. This includes the review of large consolidated federal income tax returns, ASC 740 provision calculations, and federal and state income tax planning. Dave has primarily worked with clients in the utility, manufacturing, professional services, distribution and construction industries. Dave is a member of both the AICPA and PICPA.
Prior to GTM, Dave spent 11 years at KPMG, where he served as a Senior Tax Manager. He also served two years as a Tax Senior at Voynow, Bayard & Company. Dave began his career as an accountant in 1982.
Dave strives to accomplish three things: work hard, establish effective communication, and respect others. He demonstrates these principles to earn the trust and respect of clients, and to build strong relationships both internally and externally.
Growing up in Northeast Philadelphia, Dave currently resides in Jamison, PA. He and his wife have four children. In his free time, Dave enjoys spending time with family, and watching and playing sports, including golf. He also enjoys traveling to the beach.
