Faculty Technology Workshop: Use Bb Collaborate on Snow Days

Ever wished you could host a live class with your students when getting to campus wasn’t an option? You can with Blackboard Collaborate, a virtual classroom tool built into Bb LEARN and available in every course, including face-to-face, hybrid and online classes.

In this session, we will show you how to get started with Collaborate and offer strategies for hosting your first live session. Participants will see a demonstration of a Collaborate webinar room, including features such as uploading presentation slides, audio and text based chatting, student group work, screen sharing and more.

Box lunches will be available to those who register by 10:00 AM on Monday, November 3.

Who should attend: LeBow College of Business full-time/part-time/adjunct faculty or teaching PhD candidates. LCB staff who are teaching or who directly support faculty are also welcome.
