The Delaware Valley Career Planners (DVCP) Winter 2015 meeting will be on Drexel’s campus on Wednesday, December 16. This event is co-hosted by LeBow’s Deborah and Dominic Caruso Undergraduate Career Services Office and the Steinbright Career Development Center. We have a great day’s worth of programming planned:

9:00 - 9:15 am Welcome by Dean Frank Linnehan, PhD and Peter Franks, Vice Provost for Career Education
9:15 - 9:45 am Keynote address by Randall Deike, PhD, Senior Vice President of the Division of Enrollment Management and Student Success
9:45 - 10:00 am Break
10:00 - 11:00 am Session 1: Are Today’s College Students “Career Ready”? presented by Matthew Brink, Assistant Executive Director, National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE)
11:00 - 11:15 am Break
11:15 - 12:15 pm Session 2: Career Development for Career Professionals. Panel discussion with Dr. Mary Mawritz, Assistant Professor, Management Department, LeBow College of Business; Nancy Dudak, Executive Director of the Career Center at Villanova University; Nathan Elton, Director of the Career Services Center at the University of Delaware
12:15 - 1:30 pm Lunch
1:30 - 2:30 pm Session 3: Working with Students on the Autism Spectrum. Panel discussion with Robin Marks, Associate Director, University of Delaware Career Services; James Connell, Drexel Autism Institute; Rebekah Carver, Assistant Director, Kinney Center for Autism, Saint Joseph’s University; Dr. Robert Sher, Psychotherapist, Alternative Choices Therapy
