The Dean’s Student Advisory Board is holding its 12th annual “How to Land a Great Co-op” event on Thursday, February 18 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. in the 2nd floor event space in Gerri C. LeBow Hall. Registration will begin at 5:15 pm. The event will feature current upperclassmen, LeBow alumni and industry professionals, who will share their experiences with hiring, what employers are really looking for in potential candidates and what to expect on the job. In addition, there will be opportunities to gain hands-on experience with mock interview sessions and networking with alumni and local professionals.
The event is scheduled as follows:
- 5:30-6:00: Panel Discussion (featuring employers and upperclassmen)
- 6:00-7:00: Mock Interview Session
- 7:00-7:30: Networking Reception
