Faculty Technology Workshop: What’s New with Poll Everywhere

Have you ever wanted to ask your students to vote or answer a question in class, but counting raised hands was too cumbersome? Or have you ever wanted to do a mock quiz in preparation for an exam? A service that LeBow licenses called Poll Everywhere allows faculty to create poll questions and embed them right into their presentation slides. When the poll appears, students can respond to the question via their cell phone or computing device, and results can be shown instantly.

In this workshop faculty will see Poll Everywhere demonstrated including new features such as importing polls or editing polls directly in PowerPoint.

Who should attend: LeBow College of Business full-time/part-time/adjunct faculty or PhD candidates who are teaching face-to-face classes. LCB staff who are teaching or who directly support faculty are also welcome. Be sure to bring your own mobile device (laptop, cell phone, smart phone, tablet) so that you can participate in the poll demonstration!
