Economics is Everywhere (Zoom Session)

What explains the dominance of Apple as a global firm? The Answer: Economics What makes the Dallas Cowboys the world’s most valuable sports franchise? The Answer: Economics Why have living standards of grown much faster in countries with high productivity? The Answer: Economics What explains the increase in global outsourcing? The Answer: Economics What explains the costs of global warming? The Answer: Economics

These are just a few examples which show that economics is everywhere! As a student in the School of Economics at Drexel you will master concepts which can be used to find solutions to problems across a wide spectrum of phenomenon. This session will explore some of these issues and provide information on the various curricular and co-curricular options offered by the School of Economics. We will also talk about the diverse career opportunities which will lie in front of you once you have an economics degree under your belt.

LeBow video info sessions, sponsored by McGraw Hill, are an opportunity for incoming LeBow freshmen to hear from professors and current students about everything the business school has to offer.
