The 2015 Directors’ Dialogue took place on Tuesday April 7, 2015.

Directors’ Roundtables are a quarterly breakfast series featuring prominent corporate, academic and nonprofit board leaders who provide insights on trends that directly affect the performance and success of public, private and nonprofit organizations.

Recent studies have shown that diversifying the skills on your board will not necessarily produce better performance in the long run. “Director Skill Sets,” a paper presented at this year’s Academic Conference, examines how director skills cluster on and across various boards.

Thirty-six of the country’s top business leaders attended the seventh annual Directors’ Dialogue, collectively representing over 48 public, 27 private, and 58 nonprofit boards, to share their insights and experiences with shareholder activism.
Stacie Roberts, MBA ’10, director of corporate governance at Chesapeake Utilities Corporation, was named one of Corporate Secretary magazine’s Governance Professionals of the Year.
Past awardees include Charisse Lillie, VP of Community Investment Comcast Corporation, Dr. Ann Weaver Hart, president of Temple University, and Judge Marjorie O. Rendell, Federal Judge within the United States Court of Appeals.
