The Center for Corporate Governance serves as a leader in developing and advocating meaningful, substantive positions for corporate governance to guide directors and other practitioners as they lead and advise corporate Boards and discharge their fiduciary obligations.


Gain an in-depth grounding in the key components of corporate governance to enhance and broaden perspectives and put into practice as a key member of a board.

Bringing together board chairs, corporate directors and senior executives to address the critical issues facing boards today. Directors Academy is a one and a half day Director focused educational program for “C-Suite” and board ready individuals who aspire to serve on public or private boards.

The 2015 Directors Dialogue is scheduled for April 2015. Additional information will be distributed once schedules are confirmed.

Evidence & Perspectives is a quarterly breakfast series featuring prominent corporate, academic and nonprofit board leaders who provide insights on trends that directly affect the performance and success of public, private and nonprofit organizations.

Recent studies have shown that diversifying the skills on your board will not necessarily produce better performance in the long run. “Director Skill Sets,” a paper presented at this year’s Academic Conference, examines how director skills cluster on and across various boards.

The Eight Annual Academic Conference on Corporate Governance will be held at Drexel University’s LeBow College of Business April 17, 2015. The conference features theoretical and empirical research related to corporate governance with a slight preference to research related to work by this year’s honoree, Jonathan Karpoff.
