How to Update the Zoom App

Follow the instructions below to ensure you have the latest version of the Zoom desktop app installed on your computer.

  1. Launch the Zoom desktop application.
    • Windows 10
      1. Open the Windows Start menu.
      2. Scroll down to the Zoom folder.
      3. Select Zoom.
    • macOS
      1. From the Finder, open the Go menu.
      2. Select Applications.
      3. Launch zoom.us.
  2. Open the profile drop down menu (top right corner next to Search).
  3. Select Check for Updates.
  4. If an update is available, follow all on-screen prompts to start the installation.
