EMBA Applicant Profile and Eligibility

Applicants to the Executive MBA program must meet critical professional criteria to be considered for the program. In addition to having a minimum of seven years of progressive professional experience, applicants must have increasing organizational responsibilities.

Drexel LeBow’s Executive MBA students have a wide range of experience from working in major corporations to small entrepreneurial ventures. Applicants may come from the private and public sectors as well as a broad range of industries such as pharmaceuticals, healthcare, medicine, financial services, IT, engineering, telecom, manufacturing and law. Having a diverse and multi-talented cohort enriches the Executive MBA experience.

Key factors analyzed are:

• Career progression and accomplishments
• Potential to contribute effectively to the program
• Commitment to the program

Please Note: The Executive MBA Program is part-time and not eligible for an F-1 student visa sponsorship. However, we welcome applicants who already have appropriate visas or existing status in the United States that may allow them to study in part-time programs.

Application Materials Checklist

You will need to provide the following in the “Program Materials” section of BusinessCAS to complete your EMBA application:

• A current résumé or curricula vitae in PDF format
• All undergraduate and graduate college transcripts (official transcripts will be required if your are admitted)
• A personal statement in PDF or Word Document format:
  • In approximately 500 words or less, please tell us your personal goals, conditions, or career aspirations that motivate you to pursue an Executive MBA at Drexel. What do you expect to achieve through this program?
• You will be asked to request a minimum of one letter of recommendation from a supervisor or colleague during the BusinessCAS application process

Note: The GMAT is not required for admission to the Drexel Executive MBA program.

How to Apply in BusinessCAS

1. Create your BusinessCAS account.*
2. Click the “Add Program” tab, then use the plus sign (+) to select “MBA, Executive - EMBA, Executive Master of Business Administration” as your program.
3. Visit the “My Application” dashboard (Home icon) and complete the application’s four core sections: Personal Information, Academic History, Supporting Information and Program Materials.
4. Use the “Submit Application” tab to submit your completed EMBA application by the program deadline. Please note, an application fee of $78 U.S. is required to apply.
