Research Resources

Drexel LeBow provides research resources for students and faculty, including access to the Behavioral Lab, the Finance Trading Lab and Bloomberg Terminal Room, and a wide range of data sets.

Federal Statistical Research Data Center

Through a partnership with the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia, University of Pennsylvania and Penn State University, qualified Drexel researchers have access to restricted-use microdata from the Census Bureau, Bureau of Labor Statistics, National Center for Health Statistics and Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality at the new satellite location of the Federal Statistical Research Data Center (FSRDC). The FSRDC opened in Philadelphia in October 2017 and is one of five new research hubs amongst a network of 23 others across the nation — each one a partnership between federal statistical agencies and leading research institutions.

Because of the data’s confidential nature, the Census Bureau will review and approve requests for access to the FSRDC. Approved projects must demonstrate scientific merit, maintain the anonymity of individuals and firms in the data, and researchers are required to protect the confidentiality of the data they access.

The Behavioral Lab is wired for audio and video recording, sound playback and climate control, allowing researchers to study how people act and react.

The finance and trading labs are equipped with cutting-edge, industry-standard software on 42 computers for student and faculty use.
