Work With Faculty Experts

Beginning the first year, PhD students spend time as research assistants under the supervision of a faculty member. Faculty provide rigorous training on how to conduct high-quality independent research and become an effective teacher.

The PhD faculty at Drexel LeBow are bold thinkers and experts in a wide array of research areas impacting business and society. They take pride in working closely with our PhD students, developing and refining the skills necessary for conducting and publishing academic research and achieving strong placements in their field. In fact, PhD students are encouraged to co-author research papers with faculty members, other students and alumni. As a result, our PhD students frequently produce quality academic publications and build their research portfolio before graduating from the program.

Faculty members publish in top academic journals, for example:

  • The Accounting Review
  • Journal of Accounting & Public Policy
  • The Journal of Finance
  • The Journal of Financial Economics
  • The Review of Financial Studies
  • Sloane Management Review
  • The Journal of Marketing
