Due to the uncertainly of the COVID-19 pandemic, Camp Business has been moved to a virtual format.

How do I apply?

The application process has been adjusted to meet the needs of virtual sessions.

What is the deadline to apply?

Applications will be accepted until June 7, 2020 and are reviewed on a rolling basis.

If I have already applied/been accepted to Camp Business, do I need to re-apply?

No! If you were admitted to one of our 2020 on-campus programs, then you are automatically admitted for Virtual Camp Business. Please check your email for information about confirming your spot. If you have submitted any materials already towards your application, please email Michelle Pearl at to confirm that you still wish to be reviewed for Virtual Camp Business and check if your application is complete.

What will I need to participate in Virtual Camp Business?

You will need a computer, internet access, web camera, microphone and a zoom account.

Are international students able to attend?

Yes! We absolutely welcome international students to Virtual Camp Business. Please note that the camp will be taught synchronously, so be sure to adjust your schedule accordingly, so you are present for all sessions each day.

Does my letter of recommendation have to come from my guidance counselor?

No, the letter of recommendation can be from anyone who has had direct contact with you in a mentor-type capacity (this can include guidance counselors, teachers, scout leaders, supervisors, etc.). Recommendations are completed electronically by the recommender.

Am I permitted to miss a day of camp?

Due to the length and nature of the virtual camp as well as the required teamwork, attendance for all days is mandatory.

Will there be any on-campus aspect of Camp Business?

For the Virtual camp being held in July will be online only. However, in the Fall, we hope to invite all campers to Drexel’s campus for Camp Business: Extended Edition, for an opportunity to meet campers face-to-face and interact with faculty, current students and staff. The Extended Edition experience is completely optional for campers and is subject to updated guidance by state and local health officials.
