How do I apply?

To apply, candidates must submit an application form, official high school transcripts and one letter of recommendation.

What is the deadline to apply?

Completed Applications will be accepted until June 4, 2021. All decisions will be released by June 8, 2021.

What precautions is LeBow taking to protect the health and safety of the students attending Camp Business?

The safety and health of our community remains a top priority. Drexel University and the LeBow College of Business explicitly follow all health and public safety guidelines from state and local officials. Learn more by visiting Drexel’s Response to Coronavirus website.

Will on-campus housing be available to students participating in Camp Business?

Due to guidance by state and local health officials, we will not be able to offer on-campus housing for this summer’s sessions. There are two hotels close to campus or consider an AirBnB or Vrbo rental. Many families make a vacation out of their time in Philadelphia due to the immense cultural and historical opportunities available. Please see below for links to the nearby hotels with many others located in Center City and Old City.

Are meals provided?

Yes, lunch will be provided daily.

Am I permitted to miss a day of camp?

Due to the nature of the programs and the required teamwork, attendance for all days is mandatory. If you have a special circumstance that will require you to be absent on any day during your program, you must notify us of this as soon as it becomes known to you. Unapproved absences will result in dismissal from the program.

Does my letter of recommendation have to come from my guidance counselor?

No, the letter of recommendation can be from anyone who has had direct contact with you in a mentor-type capacity (this can include guidance counselors, teachers, scout leaders, supervisors, etc.). Recommendations are completed electronically by the recommender.

Are international students able to attend?

Yes! Every year we welcome students from around the world and look forward to all the different perspectives that are brought to the courses. As all courses are taught in English, we do require a video conference interview as part of the application process to ensure they are comfortable with the language and make sure they will be successful in the program.

Please note, however, that we will not be able to offer housing on campus so other accommodations will need to be made in the area. Please also check any necessary travel restrictions/recommendations for your country of residence coming to and from the United States.

What is appropriate attire for my program?

Appropriate attire for all programs is casual wear or business casual. Examples of business casual include collared shirts, blouses, non-denim slacks, skits, and dresses. Closer to the start of camp, all participants will receive a “what to pack” list as well as what days business casual wear will be needed.

How can I qualify for a scholarship for my program?

Scholarships are awarded based on financial need only. In order to be considered for a scholarship, you must submit a 500-word essay explaining why you want/need to receive the scholarship and why you are a good candidate to receive the award. You must also submit tax documentation and any other applicable information that demonstrates financial need. Please see our scholarship application for more details.
