Evan Karson

Evan Karson is an associate economist at Moody’s Analytics covering Africa and collaborating with clients on custom economic analyses. He also manages economic forecasting and analysis for the economies of New Jersey, Kentucky, and several metro areas. Before his work with Moody’s Analytics, Evan served as a senior research associate at the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis, where he studied the effects of unconventional monetary policy. Evan graduated cum laude from Washington University in St. Louis, where he received a bachelor’s degree in economics. His honors thesis focused on financial inclusion and analyzed the determinants of bank account ownership rates across the U.S.
