Head of Financial Lines and Cyber Technology
Chubb
Rebecca Tyrrell is Head of Financial Lines and Cyber Technology at Chubb, where she leads the technology platforms supporting the company’s financial lines and cyber insurance businesses. Over more than twenty years, she has moved between technology leadership and commercial accountability for the businesses it enables.
At Comcast, she built the AI growth platform for the consumer business, which delivered 196,000 incremental subscribers in a single year. Across thirteen years at Sallie Mae, she held the digital mandate for a regulated lending business from both the technology and commercial sides, building the company’s first digital growth engine and helping grow annual originations from roughly $4 billion to more than $6 billion. She began her career at MBNA, later Bank of America.
Rebecca serves on the boards of Junior Achievement of Southeastern Pennsylvania and The WICT Network: Greater Philadelphia. She holds an MBA and a BA, both from the University of Delaware.
As co-chair of the Management Department Advisory Council, her focus is helping students graduate ready to work at the seam between business and technology, where employers increasingly need people who can operate fluently in both.
