Yasmeen Caruthers

Yasmine Carruthers ’19 graduated from Drexel University with a bachelor of science in business administration and marketing in 2019. She currently works as the public affairs manager at Philadelphia Gas Works and has experience in consulting, digital marketing, social media, tours and hospitality, event planning and public relations. Carruthers is passionate about helping people feel understood and helping others understand. She sees marketing and branding as a way to bridge the gap between company and consumer, but in a more abstract way than traditionally advertising a product or service. Her passion is in creativity and amplifying the voices of women and POC in and out of the workspace. She is proud of the different demographics she represents as an African/Caribbean American millennial woman and wants to make sure that whatever content she creates, it resonates with underrepresented demographics. *LeBow BRIDGE alumna
