Clarivate Analytics: Designing a Sales Dashboard

When Christine McKay, a marketing and analytics professional at Clarivate Analytics, was approached with a new marketing objective for the quarter, it seemed like she had been tasked with the impossible. Already swamped with daily email requests from sales representatives at her company, McKay feared that the new sales contribution of 23 percent would only mean more items added to her to-do list.

With the help of LeBow students and members of her team, McKay was able to identify eight common data metrics that would easily help the company meet their sales goals. With a clear understanding of the data supplied by each department, McKay and her team identified a new method of distributing client data to the sales team – without having McKay struggle to manage her email inbox.
