Are you looking for ways to increase student engagement in your face-to-face courses? Faculty and staff throughout LeBow have found success with Poll Everywhere: a polling system that allows students to answer instructor-created questions in real-time.

Students can answer prompts using their phones, laptops, and tablets with no download required. Whether you hope to spark discussion in large-enrollment courses, build comprehension-checks into your lectures, or encourage participation from hesitant students, Poll Everywhere can improve interactivity in classes of any size.

On Thursday, May 23, the LeBow Instructional Tech team will be leading two workshop sessions to demonstrate how Poll Everywhere can be implemented in face-to-face business courses. Sessions will be held from 10:00-11:30am, and from 2:00-3:30pm.

Each session will provide an overview of Poll Everywhere’s features, as well as tips and examples for creating effective poll questions. Plus, by attending a session, you will be able to get past the normal 40-student limit of free accounts.

This workshop is open to Drexel faculty, teaching PhD candidates, and teaching staff. Please register for a session by no later than Tuesday, May 21. We hope to see you there!
