Center for Innovation in Teaching and Learning

The LeBow Center for Innovation in Teaching and Learning (CITL) launched Oct. 1, 2021, in support of excellence in teaching, quality and innovation at LeBow. CITL provides value to faculty, staff and students through a support network that motivates, rewards and recognizes excellence in teaching and learning and drives innovation in LeBow programs, curriculum and courses.


Teaching Fellows 2022–2023

The LeBow Center for Innovation in Teaching and Learning (CITL) is proud to announce its inaugural cohort of Teaching Fellows for 2022–2023.

We would like to congratulate 2022–2023 Teaching Fellows Ed Arnheiter, PhD; Larry Duke, PhD; and Chris Finnin, PhD, who will work with Alan Hecht and the InTech team to transform the online learning experience. Teaching Fellows will collaborate to design and pilot a framework for a future-oriented, student-centered, professional “LeBow branded” online experience that transforms our LeBow online courses and programs.

Thank you to Ed, Larry and Chris for your dedication and efforts to enhance and innovate the online student experience. We look forward to your contributions.

LeBow Instructional Technology Resources

The LeBow Instructional Technology (InTech) team is available to help faculty with their courses. In addition to Blackboard support, questions and issues, the InTech team can help faculty improve course organization and design. InTech’s assistance is also available to help ensure courses meet the Baseline Course Expectations.

According to Director of LeBow Instructional Technology Alan Hecht, InTech’s mission is to “support faculty in developing meaningful and engaging learning experiences for online, hybrid and face-to-face courses and provide guidance and support in the use of instructional technologies.”

New PhD Teaching Award

Thank you to Yoto Yotov, PhD, professor of economics, for directing funds from one of his externally delivered programs and to LeBow Executive Education for funding a new PhD Teaching Award 2021–2022 to recognize doctoral students for excellence in teaching.

Congratulations to Zoe Godfrey, PhD candidate in marketing, and to Yoonhee Kim, PhD candidate in management, for demonstrating excellence in teaching and for their dedication to student success.
