Building an Inclusive Culture

In coordination with the University’s Department of Human Resources and Office for Equality and Diversity (OED), the Action Group’s Learning and Professional Development subcommittee has created a bundle of training modules on important topics relating to DEI. By completing the “Building an Inclusive Culture” bundle and attending this complementary seminar hosted by OED, you will earn a certificate certifying your completion.

Topics will include:

• Respecting Individual Rights, Building Inclusive Community
• Recognizing and Mitigating Implicit Bias
• Preventing Escalation with Conflict Resolution Skills

Attendees will develop skills and competencies, including individual strategies for building an inclusive culture, options for accountability as well as learning approaches to managing conflict to promote belonging.
