How to Access SDC Platinum

Securities Data Company (SDC) Platinum™, a historical financial transactions database, provides the most detailed financial transaction information available on new issues, M&A, bonds, syndicated loans, private equity, project finance, poison pills and many more.

Before You Begin

Access to SDC Platinum is available to all LeBow faculty and PhD candidates via Refinitiv’s Workspace online platform. Before you are able to use SDC Platinum, you will need to be assigned an account and license in Workspace by LeBow Tech. Accessing SDC Platinum Directly

  1. Browse to https://workspace.refinitiv.com/web/Apps/SDCPlatinum.
  2. If prompted, sign in using your Refinitiv account.

Accessing SDC Platinum Through Workspace

  1. Browse to https://workspace.refinitiv.com/web.
  2. If prompted, sign in using your Refinitiv account.
  3. Select Applib from the top menu.
  4. From the Cross-Asset section of the menu, select Open in the SDC Platinum section.
