Jason Kotik

Jason Kotik is an investment director at Aberdeen Standard Investments, a global asset manager based in Scotland that manages over $600b, whose mission is to create suitable solutions for clients. Jason is a lead manager on the $2b Aberdeen US small cap strategy. In May of 2015, Jason joined the fiscal/finance committee of a not-for-profit called the Agahozo-Shalom Youth Village, an organization focused on restoring hope and opportunity to kids affected by trauma in Rwanda. Jason was named head of the committee and was asked to join the Board of Directors in late 2015. He was inspired by Laurie Franz, the Board Chair, whose dedication, passion, and hard work inspired him to want to give back and continue to learn more about the organization’s mission and goals. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Delaware and holds a Master’s in Business from Johns Hopkins University. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst.
