Centralized Syllabus Policies and Statements

Faculty are required to include various Drexel policies in their course syllabi. In the past, this has involved copying and pasting blurbs of text into each syllabus and checking each term to make sure that the verbiage is up to date. Alternatively, by linking to LeBow’s centralized copy of these policies, faculty can shorten their syllabus and ensure that they are always using the latest versions.

Copies of LeBow’s syllabus policies are made available online using Blackboard’s file storage area (i.e. content collection). Below are links to these documents.

Documents to Share with Students

Faculty can place these links in their syllabus to direct students to current versions of the various policies.

Important: Do NOT click on the links and copy/paste the URLs that appear in your browser’s address bar. Those web addresses are temporary and will not work for students long-term.

To copy the permanent links, highlight and copy the full URLs shown below that contain lebow.me, then paste those links into your syllabus.

Documents for Faculty

These files include additional information and/or versions of the various statements that faculty can copy and paste directly into their syllabi.

  • Overview - this MS Word document contains the links and general information on using them. It is a great place to start for those new to these centralized documents.
  • Drexel Policies - an MS Word document containing the text for Drexel policies. Faculty can use this version if they wish to manually copy and paste the policies into their syllabus.
  • LeBow Syllabus Statements - an MS Word document containing the text for LeBow syllabus statements. Faculty can use this version if they wish to manually copy and paste relevant items into their syllabus.
