The biggest challenge new board members face is the change in mindset from being hands-on executives to strategic oversight. Directors Academy is a day-and-a half Director focused educational program for “C-Suite” and board ready individuals who aspire to serve on public or private boards. This session will provide updated perspectives and points of view on key challenges and trends being discussed in today’s boardrooms to ensure that you are prepared to have a seat at the table and contribute to the discussion.

Participants will leave with a clear understanding of the role of the board in key issues and will experience the type of decisions that they may be required to make as a member of the board. This highly interactive program is taught by leading academics, experienced board members and thought leaders in governance.

Who Should Attend?

Directors Academy offers board education seminars for “C-Suite” and board-ready individuals who aspire to serve on public, private and nonprofit boards. This program affords participants an educational framework through timely insights from leading executives, corporate directors, policy makers, legal and financial services experts, and academic professionals. This program is limited to 25 participants.

Earn up to 12 Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credits in the field of Business Management and Organization

LeBow College of Business, Division of Drexel University, is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit.
