Dr. Jie Cai is a leading expert in executive compensation issues. His other areas of expertise include mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, investment banking, and derivatives.

Among his most recent writings are "The Long-Term Impact of Rebalancing the Russell 2000 Index," to be published in the Financial Analyst Journal, an article which garnered attention in national media outlets. He has also written, "Electing Directors," with fellow LeBow College finance professor Jacqueline Garner and Dr. Ralph Walking, executive director of LeBow College's Center for Corporate Governance.

 Currently, Dr. Cai is writing "Shareholders' Say on Pay: Does it Create Value?" with Dr. Walking.
