Hybrid courses allow you the flexibility to meet with your instructor for part of the course and complete online activities to fulfill the remaining requirements. For instance, while a traditional course meets twice a week in a classroom, the hybrid section of the course meets once a week in the classroom and the remaining coursework for that week is fulfilled completely online. Online components include activites such as: completing practice problems, taking exams or participating in online discussions. In addition, you can watch pre-recorded lectures, which allows you to pause and rewind, something you cannot do in the classroom.
You can complete online course components conveniently to meet your scheduling needs as long as they are submitted by the instructor’s assigned due dates.
