Business Consulting for Industry Challenges
The Dornsife Office for Experiential Learning fosters project-based learning collaborations between industry and academia in both curricular and co-curricular settings, forming teams of faculty and students to provide research-driven business recommendations for organizations. These opportunities provide students with an avenue to apply the concepts they explore in the classroom directly to real-world issues and learn through application. Engagements are completed within a flexible timeframe and duration or in alignment with Drexel’s academic calendar.
Multidisciplinary teams of faculty and students provide expertise and insight in areas such as inventory optimization, customer segmentation, Internet of Things, digital supply chains, forecasting and modeling, blockchain technology and design thinking.
From for-profit and nonprofit to local, national and multinational organizations, faculty and students collaborate with companies across industries and locations, such as Comcast Corporation, World Vision International, Northwestern Mutual and Philadelphia Gas Works.
