The Close School’s minors offer you the opportunity to learn the skills and mindset of an entrepreneur regardless of your major. Whether you plan to start your own venture, innovate within an established organization, or dedicate your career to social impact, our minors enhance your ability to succeed in any path you choose.
The Corporate Entrepreneurship minor focuses on innovation within established organizations. Students learn how firms identify opportunities, foster intrapreneurship, and manage strategic change. The program strengthens creativity, opportunity evaluation, and change leadership skills. Through applied innovation projects and strategic analysis, students explore how organizations launch new initiatives and sustain competitive advantage. The minor prepares students to contribute to innovation-driven growth inside existing enterprises.
The Entrepreneurship and Innovation minor develops an entrepreneurial mindset alongside skills in recognizing opportunities, creating ventures, and developing business models. Students learn how to evaluate ideas, assess market potential, and design sustainable ventures. The program strengthens entrepreneurial thinking, resilience, and strategic execution. Through experiential coursework and applied projects, students move from concept development to implementation planning. The minor prepares students to think like entrepreneurs and enhances career skills and opportunities regardless of major.

The Social Entrepreneurship minor explores how entrepreneurial approaches can address social and environmental challenges. Students examine impact measurement, mission-driven strategy, and sustainable business models. The program cultivates ethical awareness, systems thinking, and socially responsible leadership. Through applied projects and case analysis, students design solutions that balance financial sustainability with measurable social impact. The minor prepares students to lead initiatives that create positive change across communities and industries.
