A core principle of Drexel University’s Charles D. Close School of Entrepreneurship is that learning entrepreneurship truly empowers an individual. Our school offers a variety of pre-college programs for high school students interested in developing an entrepreneurial mindset.

Rising Starters is an intensive, one-week program for high school sophomores and juniors who aspire to become leaders and changemakers through entrepreneurship.

Professional Development

Equip yourself with the tools to foster entrepreneurial thinking in your students. Designed for teachers and counselors, our signature workshop, “The Importance of an Entrepreneurial Mindset for Today’s Student,” offers turnkey activities and resources to engage students in entrepreneurial thinking and action. Develop your entrepreneurship education program with our “train the trainer” sessions. Customized training to suit the needs of your school or program.

Entrepreneurship Workshops

Presented by Close School faculty, these workshops allow students to explore current entrepreneurship topics while developing their creativity, resiliency and critical thinking skills. Each workshop provides 1-2 hours of content and includes an engaging and interactive exercise. For students in grades 10-12. Delivered in-person or virtually.
