Close School Ranks Among Nation's Best for Entrepreneurship by The Princeton Review
Drexel University’s Charles D. Close School of Entrepreneurship has been recognized as one of the nation’s leading institutions for entrepreneurship education, according to the latest rankings from The Princeton Review’s Top Schools for Entrepreneurship 2026. The Close School secured top spots across the board, with its Undergraduate Program achieving a national rank of No. 20 and a regional rank of No. 2 in the Mid-Atlantic. This excellence extends to the graduate level, where the Close School’s specialised programs were named No. 4 in the Mid-Atlantic region. This recognition solidifies the Close School’s position in the top tier of accredited entrepreneurship programs nationwide.
“To be named one of the nation’s best by The Princeton Review is a testament to the strength of our experiential curriculum that focuses on not only teaching theory but providing the resources for immediate execution,” says Close School Dean Donna De Carolis, PhD.
“These rankings reflect our deep commitment to ensuring every Drexel student has the entrepreneurial mindset necessary to innovate and drive change in their careers.”
LeBow Dean and R. John Chapel Jr. Dean’s Chair Vibhas Madan, PhD, emphasized the synergistic value of the programs.
“Our ability to allow students to engage in Drexel’s renowned co-op program is already valuable, but through the Close School, students can now launch their own ventures while still in school, under a guided process. It’s that combination of hands-on resources, funding, and mentorship that truly differentiates these programs in the market.”
The Princeton Review’s rankings are compiled from institutional data and comprehensive student feedback, highlighting programs that excel in academics, facilities, and career preparation. The Close School continues to drive innovation by providing the infrastructure, from the Baiada Institute to the Entrepreneurship Co-op, for students to turn their ideas into impact.
