Purpose of the Consortium
The LeBow Small Business Talent Consortium will:
- Create a structured pipeline between regional small businesses and LeBow students.
- Increase visibility and engagement for smaller employers who often lack brand awareness.
- Provide students with exposure to diverse opportunities (co-op, part-time, full-time, project-based).
- Strengthen Drexel’s reputation as a partner in Philadelphia’s business community.
The LeBow Small Business Talent Consortium connects you directly with career-ready business students through curated recruiting support, visibility opportunities and access to Drexel’s employer engagement ecosystem.
Criteria for Membership
Small businesses could be defined as:
- Under 500 employees
- Local footprint in the greater Philadelphia area
Employer Expectations:
- Commitment to engage in at least ONE LeBow program per year
- Maintain active Handshake profile + postings
- Participating employers are expected to be open to hiring LeBow students and alumni for a variety of opportunities, including internships, part-time roles, full-time positions, and project-based work. Employers should actively consider qualified students when opportunities arise and be willing to engage in meaningful experiential learning and talent development opportunities.
