Online MBA Residencies
At the start of the Online MBA, a four-day on-campus residency gives you the ability to meet other members of your cohort, providing the opportunities to network and build lasting relationships. Our alumni boast that putting faces to the names they will spend the next two years in classes with is a wonderful way to kick off the program.
This residency places you in small teams for a rigorous business simulation, MGMT-601 Managing the Total Enterprise. In addition, you will attend an on-campus orientation which reviews the many support services Drexel’s MBA program offers.
Offered by LeBow’s Dornsife office for Experiential Learning, this course offers Online MBA students the opportunity to perform as consultants, refine their business skills and utilize their acquired knowledge from classroom and cooperative education experiences towards solving a real-world business issue. In addition to faculty guidance, this ten-week course has both synchronous and asynchronous components designed for students do project work with specific objectives while learning the nuances of client interaction while providing professional services.
Students gain an understanding of consulting practice, project management skills, and the ability to organize and solve unstructured business problems while providing networking opportunities, exposure to leadership of an organization and consulting experience for their resume.
As the program nears completion, you will have the once-in-a-lifetime option of embarking on an international residency — a highlight that many online MBA students choose to add as a global send-off with their peers to mark the end of a rewarding academic experience.
