Frank LaMay teaches finance and investments at Drexel’s LeBow College of Business. Frank also teaches at the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School, where he has taught finance, investment management and economics since 1981. In addition to teaching in undergraduate and graduate finance programs, he has taught extensively in post-baccalaureate, executive education and professional development programs. His current teaching focuses on corporate finance, investment management, derivatives and international finance.
Frank has had extensive practical experience in the field of finance. As head of the corporate planning and analysis function for a Fortune 200 company, he was responsible for development of annual and long-term plans and for financial analysis of corporate results and competitive performance as well as strategy and M&A initiatives. He has held a number of other financial management positions focused on operational and strategic planning at the corporate and divisional level. His industry expertise extends to the financial services, insurance and healthcare industries. Frank also has experience in investment management oversight and financial management of not-for-profit organizations.
Frank earned his AB magna cum laude from Princeton University and has an MBA with distinction from the Wharton School. He has received several awards for outstanding teaching. Frank is a member of the American Finance Association and the Financial Management Association.
